The Lark Unplugged

Six Sundays. Six bands, stripped back. Two audiences from one stage.

A January series built to land names on the level of Christy Moore or The Coronas, artists who'd only do this because of what we offer, not because it's a normal date. Months of runway to build the offer right, streamed live alongside a full room, six weeks running.

Decision tonight: go / no-go, booking strategy, band offer

The idea

Cadence
Sunday nights, 6 weeks running
Format
Acoustic / stripped-back, reduced rig
Ticket
€35 per seat, in the room
Stream
Bundled or separate (confirm)
Capacity
Not locked yet (confirm)
Start date
January 2027 (confirm exact date)

The offer to bands

At this tier, the fee isn't why they say yes. This is what gets one:

  • A stripped-back set they don't play anywhere else
  • Multi-cam broadcast-quality session, theirs to keep and use
  • Dedicated weekly spotlight, not buried in a lineup
  • First artist into a new series, top of the bill
  • Session fee plus a share of stream and door (confirm)

Promoters & the strategy

Major promoters' agent contracts carry a six-month radius clause on bigger shows nearby. The acts we want already work with them, so the path is through them, not around them.

Recommended: open the promoter conversation first, and let the stripped-back format make the case that it isn't a competing tour date.

Fallback: fill any gap weeks with clear acts so the series doesn't stall on approvals.

Economics (illustrative)

Capacity€35/night×6 weeks
80 seats€2,800€16,800
120 seats€4,200€25,200
150 seats€5,250€31,500

Stream revenue and per-night costs not included yet, tonight's decision.
